Has anyone else used the Barenburg SOS 400 Annual Ryegrass blend for overseeding? This is my first year with it and I am not happy with the results so far. I dropped it 3 weeks ago at 600 #/A and it germinated beautifully in 4 days. Now that we are mowing, I am starting to see turf loss where the machines are traveling in a consistant pattern

No annual ryegrass, but this year had quite a bit of pythium in Tucson. I would imagine there was a fair amount in your area as well. I have never used barenburg, or annual ryegrass, but 600 may not have been high enough of a rate this year with the extended summer we had and the rain letting the bermuda to overtake pretty much anything it wanted.

It would be hard to say for sure if it was the seed or not, but I will say I have used seed that was well below what I'd consider acceptable, we made a switch two years ago from that source to a new one and wouldn't go back unless we had to.

Ummm......I'm guessing she knew that cap. Maybe you should stick to politics. I'm pretty sure she was asking what the hoc is.

I wanted to reach out and see how many clubs in Central Florida over seeded in 2017 and are planning to over seed in 2018.

I will share the results after I get 20 or more responses.
