It's hard to believe that something that big can climb a tree. My only real experience with a bear was in Alberta when I heard something knocking on the back door. I went to look and there was a black bear standing on his back legs taller than the door frame. I ran up to the loft and cowered in the corner with my bow and one practice arrow. Never slept the whole night
