Looking for feedback on Velocity SG Herbicide on A1/A4 greens including rates and timing.
Bensumec 4 FL has been used in previous years.
    Just looking for options.

    Thank you in advance.

Follow the label closely regarding temperatures when applied. Too cold or too hot you can flash turf pretty easily. On l-93, I felt comfortable applying at rates as high as 20 grams A.I./A as long as it was within the temperature guidelines, but seldom saw the need to go that high. I've found Velocity to be very effective on the true annual biotypes, less so on the perennial types.

Expect a significant growth regulation. I highly recommend going to an alternating roll and mow. Bent does recover from Velocity, but it does bruise and thin while 'flashed'. I like tank mixing Foursome pigment with it. It seemed to mask the 'flash' for apprx 10 days. I never found adding N to help.

In my opinion, in order to make any significant ground on any bentgrass surface, it can not be accomplished in a gentle program. Repeated applications are necessary to knock out Poa.
