It's that time of the year in the north where varmints are looking for scraps around the edges of treated areas and if your a skunk and raccoon lover like I am, maybe we can share our experiences.
Thought I'd start a general thread on how goes the "control strategies"

One of my guys got this last night with a bow (obviously).

Had a guy once that was great at catching Pocket Gophers. Another crew member bet him he would eat one. The Gopher catcher came in the next day with one he cooked the night before with Shake-and Bake. He ate it. Said it tasted like chicken. He won $20 off that bet...

I ate beaver once. True story. Tasted like pond water.
    But I repeat myself.

...I miss the Big Black One and DMac.

Steve, I was just thinking about Jeffy and McCallum the other night. The last thing I ever heard from Jeff was a message I had to let go to voice mail because I was driving. The message said " Give me a call buddy, but you better do it soon. Just heading to my sisters after an appointment. Looks like I'm done" I was never able to get through to him again. Eventually his sister started picking up the phone and by then...
Same with Dmac, Had some good conversations with him and then the phone stopped being answered
    Sad

A lot of water under the bridge since then. I still have them both in my phone directory, I can't bring myself to delete them.
