Question about Dimension Cancel The title field is required!

   Question about Dimension or other,
   
   Every year I spray around trees and other araes with round-up and it works great until Aug / Sept then the crab and weeds come in and make the areas unsightly for a month or so every fall when we do not have time to cut it down every week.. My question could a mix a pre-emergent in with the round-up that might extend the time until winter. I do not want to damage the trees. I do use a granular Dimension on the fairways and roughs and it does well except around areas that have been cleaned down all the way.

   I knew a super in Philly who did just that. I did it one season and it didnt help. I just aplied the round up a subsequent time.

   Keith- Roundup / Surflan was a pretty successful combo in landscape/mulch/hardscape cracks for years. Monsanto used to promote that combination but seem to have gotten away from it recently. It works and I am sure other DNA herbicides would do equally as well. Surflan had that orange color and it was easy to see spray patterns. Kenneth Ingram, UMD

   I second Kenneth's recommendation. Btw the Terrible Terps looked good on the field, but their uniforms ....well maybe a poor man's Oregon.
