I am curious to see if anyone has recieved recommendations on grassy and broadleef weed (pre or post) control strategies around imprelis damaged trees. More specifically around white pines that have brown needles but otherwise green inside the stems.

    Thank you,

Also, have you received any recommendations for keeping these trees alive in terms of fertilization, pruning, etc.

Thank you in advance for any responses,
    Derek

Very interested in this topic as well. Do not want to make a herbicide application that may put white pine in any further stress.
As far as any help that can be given DuPont has a program within their resolution aggreements that provides tree care to surviving trees. Includes deep fertilization and insecticide application. The DuPont website Imprelis-facts may have additional info.

Thank you Rod, we have yet to receive our resolution letter and I could not find any new information on the Imprelis facts website, does the resolution letter talk about fertilization timing and what to use? I am located in Delaware and thinking now is the time to try to give these pines every chance to recover before summer but I have not seen any recommendations. Also I have started spraying our preemerge crabgrass rough application this morning (Barricade) along with MCPP for broadleaf post emerge. I am staying away from any of the stressed trees. I am wondering if Tupersan for crabgrass pre emerge and MCPP for broadleaf post emerge would be safe enough to use in these areas around the white pines or would acclaim be the safer option for post emerge crabgrass control?
