    I have a question some of it to do with math and the other interpreting chemical labels.
    I have been spraying a Prodiamine 65WG, and on the label it states not to apply more than .83 oz. of product per 1000 on bermuda. If my math is correct that is .54 oz of active ingredient per 1000.

    I applied 0-0-7 w/37% Prodiamine with a top rate on bermuda of 9.3 lbs of product per 1000 sq. ft. per year. I calculate that to, .4 lbs or (6.4 oz.) of active ingredient per 1000 as the maximum.
    My math doesn't seem to add up and tell me what the maximum amount of Prodiamine I can apply per year?
    At least with the Daconil label, it doesn't matter if I use Ultrex or Action; it will tell me how many lbs. of
    Chlorothalonil I have applied with each rate I might choose, which allows me to track and not go over my yearly amount.
    Am I missing something in my math because one is 65% AI and the other is .37%?
    I am also looking at a fertilizer that has .5% Prodiamine in it and I do not want to go over my maximum use, does anyone know what the maximum amount of AI of Prodiamine is?

    Of course I can look at other options of pre-emergent herbicide, but I guess I'm trying to learn how to work between sprayable and granular products. Could I just be misplacing a decimal? (I guess we didn't cover this in materials calc class?)

    Thanks!

    .34x9.3= 3.44lbs

    Thanks Dru, I came up with that number as well, but that didn't make sense with 3.44 lbs of AI with one product and less then a pound of the other. So I went back and instead of doing .37 which is really 37%, I did .37% which is really .0037? Which gave me the .4 lb AI which seemed a lot closer to the 65% product.
