Anyone have experience with trying to keep these things from digging up a green? I am not sure if it is a Fox or an Armadillo that is the culprit. But I am leaning toward Armadillo. I have lots of foxes but they have never dug up a green, just bunkers. Any ideas or clues to know exactly what to look for to determine which one it is?

I have had very serious problems with Raccoon's and Opossums, the year our community changed trash cans that they could not get into. Thus they went foraging for grubs on our fairways and roughs. In the beginning, there was acres of damage. But overtime, a wide spread case of distemper and an annual Aloft application, we have brought the damage to a minimum.

Look for tracks in the dew. An armadillo drags it's tail so there should be a line between the footprints. If it is a 'dillo, my Mexicans love to eat them. They say it tastes like pork, I haven't tried it yet. Turns out they are a very effective control measure.
