Just wondering for those that might not have a system on your computer, how do you handle your maintenance logs and other information on equipment?
I am currently tracking all paper maintenance/service tickets on a spreadsheet log, and then put the service ticket in a 3 ring binder behind the log sheet (and I have one binder for all equipment, are fleet isn't that big, but I'm still thinking of breaking that folder down into smaller ones such as carts, triplexes etc.).
As far as owner manuals/Cd's/ training videos, and purchase requisitions and the like, I have those in a folder. Seeing that service tickets can add up, I don't see them going into a file folder but I still wonder, are the better ways to handle these items? (Besides going to computer programs I mean)
