I'm having trouble placing a job posting. I've tried 3 times and each time the connection times out. Any tips?

I am having the same Problems. I need to get a job posted yesterday. Still having problems today. Come on, I thought the new site was supposed to work. It does not. This is so frustrating. TurfNet does not have these problems!

    Umm......have you tried e-mail? webstaff@gcsaa.org.
    Calling? 800-472-7878 / 785-841-2240

    http://www.gcsaa.org/contact-us/contact-gcsaa.aspx

Whenever I had problems with the old site I e-mailed them and they got right back to me.

I have...twice and I've heard nothing back yet and frankly I'm getting a little bent. Like Jason, I needed to have this posted last week and I'm still having the same problem and still haven't received any help. I realize the GIS was this week but these are tech guys - they probably have about 15 devices hanging from their belts along with an iPad so I sincerely doubt it would be that hard for them to get back to me or to contact the new guy at HQ who got stuck back in Kansas all week.

I can tell you the tech guys were running around on the show floor working all week...I saw most of them and they had their hands full. I bet you'll get an answer on Monday when they staff gets back to work.

I don't doubt they were busting it all week - anymore there's probably no way a conference of that size can happen without a full tech support team and a lot of work. I'm just a little suprised I haven't heard anything from anyone and it's been a week. Given that it was the week of the show and the amount of work I assumed they had to do, I figured a resolution to the problem may not be immediately possible but I figured I would at least hear back from someone about when they would be able to take a look at it. In any case, I'm sure it will get resolved and you're probably right Andy that it will be sooner rather than later.

Did you call or email? Those would have been my first forms of communication.

I did not e-mail or call but Mathew did with no response. I realize they are busy with the show but I would think that when our Association is in the spotlight We would want our Brand New and state of the art web-site working smoothly. I will e-mail right now.

Jason I completely agree. You'd think things would be working smoothly by now. I'm not sure why there have been problems but I'm sure there is an explanation. Hopefully everything gets better from here.

    Jason, Matthew,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we are actively running down this issue. I do not have a resolution as of yet, but wanted to let you know that your job submission did complete and is in process for review. I have passed this information on to our Professional Development Department for final approval. You will be contacted by someone as soon as your job has been posted.

    Thank you,

Yes, thank you John and Staff. I am wondering, I must have tried submitting it 10-12 times since Thursday, of those which one will be chosen? Just curious, I would guess I could edit it if needed. Thanks.

    All,

    Job Boards Status Update -

Quite a few issues were identified as problems with the Job Boards. The timeout issues being the one that affects our members the most. The product is about 50% updated and the first portions of the new code will begin internal testing either this week or next. There are 2 more broad areas that need to be tackled with this update. Then, when everything is complete and tested, we will roll out the changes for everyone to begin using.

    Thanks,
    Chad
