My first step will be to email, then if needed call their website support. Maybe a more direct approach will at least start a discussion.

Believe me, I love being a member here. And I fully realize that our industry is going so fast that some details get overlooked, or even under-valued. But I see real time connectivity as a huge deal, and a major milestone this forum needs to address.
All they need to do is start with the very basics: email notification when a post receives a reply.
Nobody has time to hover in front of a computer screen mashing the refresh button, praying for a response.
Feel free to shoot them an email as well, and I would appreciate it. We'll ramp it up if we need to.
